Weight loss is consuming my life, which is probably why I ended up on this forum.
After years of trying and failing to loose weight, I'm finally doing it! I've found a routine that really works for me and it's great! I'm 20 and a student whose struggled for so long with her weight.
I was always fit and healthy growing up and came from an incredibly athletic family. But when I started putting on weight around the age of 16, my family weren’t supportive about it. My mum would try and shock my into loosing weight by saying hurtful comments such as, “you’ve ruined your face”, “you use to be pretty” and “everybody have noticed you’re putting on weight and talk about it”. I think that’s what stopped me every feeling positive enough about myself to want to change. But since I’ve gone to uni and got away, I have actually managed to do it! Maybe it’s because I want to show her I can do it all by myself, I don’t know.
Either way, I’ve lost 1 stone, 10 pounds so far and feeling great! I’m just finding motivation difficult as staying on track after 2 months becomes tiring. I know it’ll be worth it in the end but it is so hard. I don’t have many people to talk about all this with so this has felt great Hannah
