Hi everyone, am new to this, and find it hard to stick to any sort of diets. I started by going to my doctor because I was always tired and felt like I was putting more and more weight on, so doctor referred me to the nurse who introduced me to the Nhs weight loss program. She took my weight 4 weeks ago and I weighed in at 17st which has been the heaviest I have ever been in my 27yrs of life, went for a weighing on Wednesday there and I now weight 16st 7lb, so I lost 7lb in 4 weeks which I am happy with. I've joined the gym and also jog Scotland group to try do more exercise because before I wasn't getting much. So if any1 has any advice it would be very much appreciated.

You have made a good start. Chin up and keep going. Take support from the forum. It is a great place.
Hi Tashbash88,
Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on losing 7 pounds in 4 weeks, that's really great! I hope you're enjoying attending the gym since you joined, and also the jog Scotland group you mentioned. How are you finding jogging so far? I enjoy walking, but I do try to jog occasionally - and I do enjoy it when I do that.
I find that pre-planning meals helps, and I also find that using an app to help to track calories and exercise makes it much easier - something like Myfitnesspal is good, as it's free and easy to use.
Also, reading and contributing to posts in the forum really helps to keep on track.
I hope you're having a good week, and that you enjoy the weekend.
