How many times have you looked in the mirror and thought to yourself or even maybe said it out loud...
'I am fat'
...and allowed it to ruin your mood or led you to feel down or unhappy?
When we say 'I am' it is a very definitive statement that can subconsciously create a sense of fixation on or into whatever it is you 'are' which is not a problem when what you 'are' is a positive thing, but if it's a negative thing, it can keep you stuck and hold you back when you think and say it in that way.
The words we use, whether it be out loud or just in our heads, on a daily basis are very powerful and affect your mood and behaviour, so it could help you feel happier, stronger and more in control of your weight loss progress to become aware of any negative things you say or think on a regular basis.
Try this one for starters, instead of 'I am fat' ... from now on this becomes
'I have fat'... immediately followed by 'and I'm in the process of getting rid of it!'
So fat is no longer something you 'are' it is something you 'have' ...and soon will not have
Do you think that is something that might help you?
Can you think of any negative things you say or think about yourself on a regular basis that you could change?
