....and maybe tomorrow. But I havnt got there yet, so Im not thinking about it. Another of my AA "exes" mantras was One Day at a Time. It works for lots of people with far more complicated addictions than me, so why not me ?
I've planned out today at 1500 cals.
Ill see what happens today and let tomorrow come into it tomorrow.
Good luck all x

I have been living on focusing on one day at a time for the past 6 months. Part of my plan for helping me out with my depression problem. It is working. I have goals for each day and a tip I learned when I was competing in archery competitions was to ensure that you have several levels of goals so as you pass each goal you have a next one to aim for and if you don't reach your ultimate goal for that day you have a check list of successes that you have completed.
I think one day at a time is an excellent idea. It means, if you have a bit of a wobble, it's not the end of the world, because tomorrow is another day and it stops the temptation to enthusiastically forward programme everything unrealistically eg Oh goody, I've lost 5lb this week, if I lose 5lb every week for the next 6 months, I'll have lost X number of stones by such and such a time and be able to fit into a size 8 mini dress with 6" stilletos and get a modelling contract with Y agency and..........etc a scenario which is equally harmful, as it sets you up for disappointment with a capital D
