Concerned wrote a post today about preservative free sausages, it got me inspired to make some as I haven't done so for yonks. Now I didn't have any skins in the freezer so I decided to make sausage patties instead. They are now resting and 'curing' in the fridge and a tray full open freezing ready to bag later ( they will be easy to just take 1 or 2 out of the freezer this way - no sticking together).
Tomorrow morning will see them cooked and 'burgered' between huge mushrooms and topped with a poached egg for breakfast. If they taste good, I will post the recipe along with calories. π
