Fancy switch

Wish someone could turn my fancy switch off, we all know what we should be eating and what not to eat, then the switch clicks in as in, I fancy a mars bar, or I fancy a packet of crisps, not that I am hungry, just fancy things, saying that I am down from 11-8 to 11-6 today so maybe I have found how to turn that switch off. Good luck everyone.

The stuff I 'fancy' has such a long shelf life too. I know you've heard this times but try not to buy it. If it's not there the 'I really fancy a packet of chrisps' voice is too lazy to say....I fancy a packet of crisps, let's get up, get our coat and walk up to the shops and get some. Good luck Doddy

I like the fit bit, but at 75 I think the fab bit may have just passed me by, or I may have eaten it.

Those switches are pesky things, I've changed mine over from I fancy to I'm walking the dog, it's really helping and I forget about what I fancied by the time I get back! Kids..... they are the ruin of us... lol

Love to be able to walk my dog but a knee replacement and recent blood clot put a stop to that. That is part of the problem till I get moving freely again, but I'll get there.

I've got arthritis, so walking was a struggle for me too at first, I'd walk one day and then spend the next two stiff and stuck on the sofa, the more I did the better I felt, swimming is gentle so maybe that may be more your thing, I hope you knee starts to allow you to move about more in the future!

Congrats on the 2 lbs thats fantatstic :)

The fancy switch will never turn itself off. What you have to do is find a way to get in between it and your hand grabbing a chocolate or chips.

I have had GREAT success with this new technique I have tried which is imagining your craving like a tantruming 4 year old child - which it really is when you think about it.

Once I got that in my head it became much easier to deal with it.

Hopefully the post I wrote will help;)
