Hay everyone, so those of you who read my post on Sat will know that I ran a whole 5 k without walking and completed this in 27:46 mins
Today I wanted to challenge myself to see if my personal best could be broken and to see if I could do it again...and I am pleased to report that I did it again and I broke by PB and completed the run in 27:03 mins and I am over the moon with this.
I will tell you what motivated me to challenge myself. Well I went into my wardrobe today and wanted to try on some dresses which I have had in there for quite some time now, but not for 24 yrs LOL and when I was trying these dresses on which looked lovely by the way all in a size 14 I might add I came across this one dress which is a size 12 and could never get this dress to go over my head let alone get an arm in it (teeheehee) and even when I went to put it over my head today I told myself it ain't gonna go on anyway....and lone behold it bloody went on!!!! and it looked beautiful. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw this wonderful figure taking shape OMG everyone this has made my day.
So there we go that is what motivated me today, that size 12 dress
Thank you for reading

I'm thrilled for you that you've achieved an even better time than the one you achieved on Saturday - that is amazing!
I can tell I'm not a 'runner' or used to 'runner speak', as I thought when I saw the title of your post that you had broken a bone in a rather personal area!!! I'm so glad to realise that's not the case...!
Very inspiring to read that you've fitted into that size 12 dress and that you are pleased with your new body shape. That's really great.
Hi Lowcal and thank you nothing broken here just my own personal best which I intend to break again at some point.
I've not been a girlie girl in so many yrs. I always walk round in trousers so it's nice to see that I look good in a dress and that this is motivating me to work even harder. I never would have thought that trying on a dress and it fitting would have made me want to run a 5 k, but it did
There's a first time for everything I guess
Hope you are enjoying your week so far Lowcal and I bet your still smiling from Monday Enjoy your week
I was thinking PB stood for 'pubic bone' (i.e. the bones in your pelvic area) - I don't think there's an official abbrevation for pubic bone, but it was just that your title 'I've just broken my PB' made me worry that you'd had an accident and broken a bone.
Thank you for clearing that up for me Lowcal, I have been wondering just what else that could have been taken for LOL anyway after thinking for a while I only came up with personal bone in those regions, haha
Thank goodness it's not true, I don't know what I would do
I've just had a giggle at the reply from Lowcal because exactly the same thought crossed my mind. That aside, well done on beating your 'Personal Best' you are so motivated and truly an inspiration to the rest of us to keep going. Well done you!!
Not sure what PB stands for other than personal best. I have changed the title now so no more confusion LOL

Hi Trafford 1,
What better motivation than that 😃😃😃😃
I do not run but have got couch to 5k on my iPod just never had the guts to start running and it's been raining for 3 days here in Newcastle !!! Just walking the dog is like aquarobics lol. Will do it.
It must be a great feeling to break your record, it does not seem a lot of time to run 5k so good on ya.
Hi flossie and thank you. It is a really great time for me especially as I've been practising this since I think about week 10, but never actually had the guts to do the whole run without walking, but knew I was fit enough to do it. So last week being my first ever run without any walking showed me that I could do it and this week I just wanted to see if I could do it again but faster and I did it all because of that dress LOL
I have to keep finding different ways of pushing my body so it continues to respond to losing this weight and I think this will definitely help me get to where I need to be.
Thank you for your continued support flossie and have a great week too
Thank you xxemmawxx123, still pushing through this week... I wonder what I am going to find myself doing tomorrow what ever I choose it has to be to break another personal best for me as I don't want to maintain this week
