I am the heaviest I have ever been... when I was 18 I was roughly 12 St with rather large boobs I am 21 and two babies later I am at 19. 2 St and feel like crap.. I used to play football and enjoy sports but since having the babies And my boobs getting bigger I find it really hard to motivate myself and I pick. I snack more throughout the day instead of eating set meals which I know is really bad but they are never really fatty or sugar foods.. and I'm getting married next year so need to get back to how I was does anyone have any tips, ideas or recipes I would be very grateful... π

Hi Laurencareytobe,
I think the 12 week NHS plan is a good place to find lots of tips, and structured advice. The link is here if you've not seen it, and would like to take a look:
nhs.uk/Livewell/weight-loss...
There is a recipe in one of the weeks (possibly week 7 but I'm not sure...), which is for Banana Bran cake, and it's really tasty.
I find that the app called Myfitnesspal is a good app for keeping track of calories and exercise, and I also find that pre-planning meals and snacks can be really helpful.
Hope you have a good week ahead.

Hi Lauren. Getting married is a great motivator!
If you are picking all day I bet you have been eating way more calories than you realise. Forward planning certainly helps many on here and helps avoiding the snacking.
I would certainly start by working out (honestly) how many calories are in the foods you eat during the day. You may find you can make a few changes to what you eat every day and save quite a few calories.
Keep making small changes you can maintain long term and you should see the pounds drop off!
Good luck
I don't know how many slices of bread you eat per day but I will only eat 2. If I have had 2 slices for breakfast then I will have crackers for lunch and vice versa. I am sure this will help you. I really do. Let us know how the wedding goes although I know it is a long way off yet.
I was exactly the same. Being at home with the kids I found myself always snacking. I have the MyFitnessPal App, and its brilliant. My start weight on the 8th July was 11st 12lb and today's weight is 11st 9lb.
Xx
Thank you guys I don't eat a lot of bread and I have recently changed to brown bread which is a lot scrummier that I had imagined I have lost nearly 2 1/2 stone sine having my little girl in may so not doing to badly I'm just hitting a brick wall at the moment xx
Aww I can sympathise, I have a lot to lose too and am nearly at the same weight as you. I was very sporty before having kids and they take up a lot of my time, and I don't have the motivation to eat proper food simply cos I am too tired. I find now that I only drink water or tea (preferably peppermint or fruit) hardly eat bread, but if i do, its usually 50-50 or brown bread and just 2 slices a day or less. And now I just have one or two small bars of choc, I used to have whole boxes of choc! And once I realised how much takeaways and meals out actually cost, my hubby and I have cut right down and save those only for a special treat i.e. a friend's birthday or so. I find I am cooking at home much more cos it saves a lot of money.
Doing the c25k programme helps too.
I still have loads to lose, but at least I am in a better position than before.
Wish you the best on your journey.
