Gulp.....

Riding high on my new found confidence in actually being able to take on my blubber and succeed, I have booked the holiday dreamed of for a long time. In just under 15 months, my son and I are going on a ranch riding holiday to Montana for 2 weeks, then flying to Orlando for a week and finally flying to New York for 4 days. I never thought I would do this, especially the riding bit - it's been a very long time since I sat in the saddle, felt far too sorry for any poor horse having to carry this weight on its back and embarrassing myself struggling to get on and stay on! I figure I should more or less be where I want to be weightways by then. The fact I have just parted with the best part of £8000 is also a major incentive to stay on track!!!!!!!!!!

OMG what have I done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gulp, gulp, gulp.
