This is my 1st week, I started the diet on Monday, and I was doing so well - I've lost 3lbs But......I have been out this afternoon and had a cappuccino plus I allowed myself to get talked into having a slice of lemon cheesecake - so annoyed! That's around 450 calories....no tea for me!

3lb is a great result and I doubt that cheesecake will have blown all your efforts. Some days you are going to need a little indulgence - for me, I find it helps me keep on track. Just put it behind you and carry on. And as another poster said, perhaps asked your friends to try not to encourage you into breaking your diet. Maybe next time you meet them build an indulgence into your calorie budget that day.

It's difficult to get into the routine of healthy eating and this is just your first week so it's still a learning curve for you. Striking the right balance between eating healthy and being sociable is a tricky one but with a bit of planning and preparation you'll manage it. Have a good week
Forget about it. Rule a line underneath and get back on to plan. We all have hiccoughs along the way.
At the same time tell your family and friends that you need their help to stay on plan and that they are being unkind putting temptation in your way and that by doing so they are making you very unhappy.
True friends and a good family will be understanding and will try to help you xx
