Exercise is great and means you don't have to give up on the  treats. Do something you enjoy and use it as a learning experience

OK you've had a blip, and know what went wrong. Exercise, especially one you enjoy will help, so as the song goes 'pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start again'. We all have weeks like that, the trick is to keep going, healthy eating is for life (with the occasional treat, or blip!)

Good luck.

Yes, I too had what worked out to be a whole bottle of wine on Sat, after a very nice, planned treat dinner too.  And I pinched off my son's fried plate later.  I have had trouble getting back to low intake days.  But a stay the same after a binge is a success in my book.  It means I've gotten away with it!  If we lose well 3 out of every 4 weeks and stay the same the 4th, when we have had a treat, then we will get to goal.  And we won't be an anti social misery either.  We all need to let our hair down occasionally.  And a holiday weekend was going to be the one!  Here's hoping I get as good a result as you did, when I get weighed tomorrow.

Thanks fitbyjuly  your good wishes worked.  I lost 2lbs.  So not expecting that!  I owe it all to lots of walking and way too much cabbage!  Kale has become the breakfast cabbage of choice in this house.  To think I spent my wild youth trying to find the ultimate breakfast wine!  Those were the days.

And when you've finished that one, mine awaits.  You'd think a house with 2 botanists in it would have a slightly organised garden.  All it lacks is an car wreck and an Alsatian.  Still tomorrow may be a better world!
