FINALLY, SUCCESS!!!

So, over the past week I've been struggling, as previously mentioned in a load of miserable, down and out blog posts (sorry about that!) until 2 days ago when I had a sudden major realisation that I just need to keep trying, right when I was on the verge of giving up entirely and just being a fat person for the rest of my life.

Well, after that breakthrough I would like to announce that, after weeks and weeks of not losing a single damn thing, today I got on the scales and I have lost 2lbs!!!!

I feel like I can breath a sigh of relief!!! it's taken flipping ages, numerous emotional breakdowns (Sorry to the other half about that!) and incessant whinging but finally I'm starting to drop again.

I just goes to show really - no matter how hard it gets, no matter how much you think "what is the point? Why am I doing this?" no matter how long you get stuck at a certain weight - you have to keep going. You've got to stick with it and eventually you'll get somewhere. Giving up is not and never will be an option if you want to achieve your goals, and I'm bloody well going to achieve them.

On a side note, does anyone know how to add your own tags - the automatically added ones are always all wrong!!!

Excellent, inspiring post. Thank you. I don't even know what a tag is so can't help you there!

Well done for hanging in there. Perseverance is vital, especially when you don't see the results you expect.

You can delete the tags by clicking on the down arrow under your post, click edit, and then delete any tags you don't want (click the x in the corner of each word). Then accept the edits by submitting again (the orange button). I'm not sure how to add tags that you specifically want there, other than by including them as words in your post. I think this thing only picks up certain words as tags...

I agree that having the right frame of mind is the main part. That was a really good, honest, positive post. Thanks - I feel much the same to be honest! Just really need to stay focussed and keep going. Good luck keeping on going too, we're all here to help each other in that!

Actually - I think you don't have to edit your post to delete tags - I think you can just click the x on them to delete them. But if you want to add words to your post to create other tags then you will need to edit... hope that makes sense!
