Work colleague had really pissed me off and instead of letting it go......what did I do! EAT"...."...

Yup I'm like that, if I'm stressed or in pain I eat. Believe it or not I find the bath with candles really does work to de stress, if you can get to it before the biscuit tin! Other options chucking on good music and dancing about your living room like a loon or going for a fast paced walk to walk off your anger! X
Hey, it happens... the best thing to do is to put i behind you and move on. Maybe focus on the feeling you had after bingeing - even write it down for the next time you are fed up/ stressed/ angry - and realise that it didn't make you feel better, it just added to your upset. Try to find other sources of comfort - walking, talking, running, bath, music, book, whatever works for you. Even have a special food treat on stand-by for emotional emergencies but only a small amount (bar of choc, single tub ice-cream etc) - it will be a treat but wont be a binge. Onwards and upwards... today is another day
Best thing for me is to get outside in fresh air and walk , even if its only for 30 minutes It usually lifts me.
It's another lesson in life learnt June and if it was just one massive binge you won't have done that much damage. Be careful and good now!
We've all been there! Oh well as they say in Gone With The Wind, 'tomorrow is another day's.
