I almost did the thing where you wait to a Monday to 'start' but decided whats wrong with my weigh in day being Wednesday.
Today I weighed 14st 2lb. I'm only 5"5 so my ideal weight is around 7st 13lbs-10st 9lbs. My long term goal is to get down to 9st but my concentration is on losing 1 to 2lb a week.
Already started off the day good with a couch to 5k week 2 run

I think you have chosen a good day to start, i weigh tuesday morning because if you have a wobble at the weekend you can try and make up for it before your weigh in. Hope you have a great first week, and i bet when monday comes round you will be happy that you started today.
Well done and good luck! I have done the journey twice before and got down to a healthy weight, the feeling is unreal! Hopefully after this slog I will be smart enough to maintain a balanced healthy diet
Glad you have started today brookes. No reason to wait for a new beginning especially as it's something good. I think it is best to aim for an achievable lost per week and then anything else is a bonus. Keep in touch as it will help you stay focused.
Well done!! You've made a great start by getting going with it! I'm sure you'll do well! I also started at 14st2 and I'm 5"3 so similar amount to lose as you, I'm now on week 6 and have lost 15lb so far! The NHS plan is great! Are you using my fitness pal?
