They sound yummy, I'll have to venture to aldi sometime next week..☺

Hope the diet plan is going well for you! I'm feeling great, super excited to weigh myself on Monday, praying I'm not going to be disappointed tho lol, 1lb would be fine, as long as it's something! 🌸

Hi Anna this week has gone really well thanks. Had lots of fruit and veg to fill up on and I have not felt hungry at all. No sugar seems quite a talking point but I'm not getting hung up on the no sugar diet just having what I want within my 1400 calories per day. I know a lady who has lost 6 stone but has a curly wurly everyday as that keeps her on the straight and narrow. I guess this is all about finding what works for each of us on an individual basis. I have walked or cycled most days so hope to have lost 2lb but as you say anything is a loss, it's just sticking with it. Good luck with the weigh in let me know how it goes 😜

That's it, if it works for you then kudos! Sugar does seem a controversial topic, and sure I agree that having too much added sugar is a nono so I have been limiting mine, though not cutting altogether but I find that some grapes or any fruit really, usually does the trick for me as they have quite alot of naturally occurring sugars anyway. I also made some biscuity things that are just made of rolled oats and banana which are really good for not missing out on biscuit time and don't have added sugar, also good for a healthy breakfast😊.

Anyway, I digress, I think depriving yourself totally of something is not going to work as you will end up giving up altogether, as long as you are sticking to your calorie limit and mainly making healthy eating choices, a rice cake with come yoghurt on top isn't going to hurt. Plus if you find it is hindering your loss you can always rethink!🌸

Ps I love the curly world lady! What a star to lose 6 stone! 🌼

A diet is about eating healthy and losing weight to which maintain after. Junk makes you put on weight and after a weight loss you are to remain healthy cutting out all junk other wise you put weight all back on. Its best to not go near sugary stuff once you start it up its easy to go back to old habits and can put the pounds back on. I have kept weight off for many years now with out any junk which his how a weight loss and maintaining weight after should be its about a life style change and clearing out your diet for good.

Good sense Hugh. It may not be everyone's choice but it has to be what works for you ( and it has for me too, ive lost all my spare weight still including sweets and alcohol but sparingly) . Good luck !

Thanks for that but really you shoulden't be having these kind of treats if trying to loss or maintain weight. You should be eating fruit, low fat biscuits, dried fruit/ seeds, yogurts that are low fat but I feel anything with chocolate in even if its low fat is a no no. You should be clearing up your diet when losing weight or maintaining weight and eating healthy food and change your diet for good. I don't agree that these kind of snacks are the way forward. If you really want to loss weight or maintain weight after a weight loss this isn't the food you should be eating rice cakes are okay but not chocolate flavour and not all the time. Fruit and other more important things you should be eating. It amazes me the amount of things I see people eat after a weight loss or when trying to loss weight that I would never go near. I lost weight 6 years ago and its about life style change giving up junk and keeping weight off by eating healthy I don't see chocolate low fat snacks healthy you should be off these kind of things and eating better.

Have got the multigrain ones from Aldi and spread teaspoon of their crunchy peanut butter on 58 calories altogether and yummy as a quick snack. But will try the yogurt ones as another standby. Thanks for tip.

How much sugar or sugar replacements in them? Very very very wary of sugar 😨

If you like rice cakes Im sure they're lovely, but my little treat is a Borders Chocolate Covered Ginger biscuit , 83 cals and I find just one is enough.

in the past year I lost my excess weight, 2 st , by including small treats and drinks and daily calorie counting. For the past month I am at my target weight Bmi 23.

P.S yes, sugar is now the new enemy, but if you monitor what you eat, make sure that 90per cent of your diet is healthy and well balanced, then you should be able to allow an occasional sugar item IF you want one. Chances are, when you cut back on these things to lose weight you'll actually end up wanting less anyway. But totally banning a food or drink is almost bound to fail longterm....

Its about a healthy life style diets are about eating healthy to loss weight and maintain weight after a weight loss. The minute you start eating junk you put weight back on. Weight loss and maintaining is about cutting out all junk and cleaning up your diet for good. I don't eat any junk and don't buy any and its worked. Once you get in a routine and you get used to eating healthy you will just get on with it and before long you wont miss or want junk which puts weight on etc.

I love them! I think it is much better to have a low cal treat than to cave in the worst choices, xx

I agree HRHGaby, one of these is enough that I don't feel left out when the rest of the family are having a treat.

Just weighed and have gone from 14.13 to 14.5 ! Really pleased with this first week. When I totalled up the whole week I had gone over the 1400 daily allowance by 98 calories this week. I have upped exercise with simple things like a 30 min walk each day before lunch. The next challenge is an Easter weekend away. Hope everyone else's weigh in gives positive results 😊
