I know the feeling!! I've stopped buying biscuits, crisps etc and am using the myfitnesspal app to help me stay on track. I started this plan 4 days ago and already seeing benefits. Also bought a pedometer and pushing myself to do 10,000 steps a day. Good luck 😀
You're on the right track! That was exactly my approach 8 months ago, used MFP , bought pedometer, avoided ( but didnt ban ) choc, crisps etc just had small amounts when offered. I have slowly steadily lost my excess ( total 28lbs) and the walking improved my leg shape, I can wear a skirt 1-2:inches above the knee for the first time in 20yrs!
I had several weeks of plateau along the way, so will you, but just keep at it and you will get there!
I'm on myfitnesspal as well, it's just what I needed, the community there is equally great as this one and it really helps! It's amazing how many people are on the same journey... makes it much easier. I've got loads to go so I'll be on there for a while. I haven't tried the weight loss plan on here, although I looked at it, but I knew that as I needed longer than 12 weeks I thought I'd just start as I meant to continue. Go for it!
