Bathroom scales

Morning everyone, can anyone recommend some bathroom scales. I've tried old fashioned doctors style one and digital and they all move depending on which way I lean and it drives me crazy. I want to just step on and off and get the same result each time. Does anyone have a good set???! Please let me know. Thanks

I had the same problem until my slimming group recommended there's to me

They are salter body analyser digital scales. I got mine on eBay for about £20 but I know Argos sell them depending where you live of course..

No movement just a still reading also they read your bmi and body water.

I will never buy any other scales but these ones

We're on our 4th set currently, first we had a set of standard Doctors ones which never weighed higher enough for me.

We then bought some Weight Watcher Digital ones, because they were at the time the heaviest weighing ones we could find at 27 Stone and they worked well for time once I'd lost some weight for them to work for me but after about 18 months they started giving inaccurate readings all be slight at first, they seemed to hate being moved, even slightly seemed throw the reading out. I don't think keeping Bathroom scales in the Bathroom does them any good due to the Steam/Moisture.

We then had some Omron ones that also gave Fat/Muscle % but they turned out in the end to be the most inaccurate of the lot.

We finally ended up getting some Withing's Wifi ones last Summer and they have been by far the best to date they work well on carpet and they tell you if you are not stood correctly balanced on them. They automatically keep track of your weigh ins by uploading them to an online dashboard. Downside is price, they are stupid money, we bought ours off Amazon in one of those Daily Deals they do and they were about 40% cheaper.

Glad you found the right ones in the end. They sound fab, thanks for the advice. I might have to invest as I'm finding it so frustrating. I'm off to look on amazon 😃

WS-50 they £78 all we would not have got them, they were down to the same price in the Black Friday Sale before Christmas because we bought my Step-Daughter and her husband a pair for their Christmas present.

They are £119 at the moment on Amazon, if you don't want the body analyser part then the WS-30 is just the scale and is much cheaper. They are always appearing on the Daily Deals though, I used camelcamelcamel.com to track the prices and have had some real bargains using it however I don't think it always alerts you when something is on the daily 1 hour flash type sales that Amazon do as it does not track the products that often to know.

A word of warning to any one out there with a pace maker fitted, like my husband.

I decided to treat us to a new set of bathroom scales this week, and bought a body analyser set. Fortunately I always read all instructions whenever we get anything new, and a long way down the leaflet was the information 'do not use if you have a pace maker...' There was no warning on the outside of the box!

I really should have realised that a body analyser could be a problem, but I didn't. I don't know what the effect would have been on my husband, thankfully we didn't find out.

Good Advice, as they put a small electrical circuit around your body to measure resistance.

Mrs FbGb specialised in cardiac nursing when she was 'on the wards' as opposed to 'in an office'. She wasn't aware of pacemaker/scales problems despite having worked in A+E in some of the busiest hospitals in the UK. We can't say you'll definitely not encounter problems but I'd estimate the chances of anything serious happening as very low - however, I can't imagine you would ever want your pacemaker to reprogram itself ...

Yes, the likelihood of something serious happening must be very low, or there would be an obvious warning on the box. My husband had the pacemaker fitted because his heart kept stopping, so the thought of it reprogramming itself is not a good one!
