Pleased to say lost 5.8lbs this week! Total loss of 15.9lbs. So pleased to have got to stone mark and under a certain weight (which i did not think would happen this week). Now got to keep on with the will power to get on with the next stone so i will officially not be obese!

Wow how did you lose that much in one week? did you not eat anything? I've got will power but struggle to lose 1 lb per week. please tell me your secret:))

If I lost 2lb a week I would be pleased. You must be starving or exercising..

Thanks all, the support really helps me and is what i have been missing before and make me a bit accountable! I have made huge changes which basically boil down to me sticking to 1400 calories a day, about 2 days i manage less than that (1200). I have been very focused to keep within calories , weighing cereal etc and use a portion control plate as visual check as portion size before was way out!! I have had no processed sugar for 5 weeks i.e. no biscuits, chocolate and cake as i am a bit of an all or nothing person so firstly needed to get some will power back after a previous year of comfort eating. I realised today how easy it would be to succumb to temptation when having a cup of tea after a very stressful event and wanted cake. I decided i would call someone instead who talked me out of it. Guess why this is a 12 week plan as takes long time to imbed changes. I have also decided if i need to do different food for myself and rest of family i will , as much of a pain as this is! I have naturally cut down on carbohydrate having couscous some days (but do still have carbs). I have cut down majorly on alcohol.

Have tried to do more physical activity but this has mainly been walking a bit quicker, need to build up exercise. I did put weight on week 3 for no reason i can explain and guess my body may have a monthly cycle going on that effects me.

i also have an awful lot to lose so guess some weeks may lose a bit more than the 2lbs.

keep going all, i had to tell myself this today and on a daily basis say i will not give in! I hope that may help some? If not it makes me realise how many things I needed to change and keep changed! Good luck all.
