Sometimes dealing with the emotional issues is key to successful weight loss. There are a few fitness trainers/gurus that include dealing with this alongside healthy eating and exercise such as jillian michaels, her book.win by losing was really interesting

Do you mean "Winning by Losing"?

For those, like me, that prefer ebooks it's available on Kindle.

Yeah sorry miss spelled it

As with any addiction, physical dependance is only half the problem. Unlike other addictions like say smoking for instance, we cant rule out food totally we need it to survive. Like smokers feel the need for a cigarette, or drinkers for say a glass of wine to 'calm them down', people that binge or over eat when stressed etc do it to feel 'better'. To be comforted by that one constant that always acts in the way we expect it too.
