Office life.

Office life is hard for a dieter, it seems like everyone around me is snacking and sharing.

Today I have said no to 3 different kinds of chocolate, lindt, malteaser and thorntons and also some haribo.

Doesn't help when people say "oh don't be daft just have some".

It's not daft, this is serious!

Anyone else finding that people don't take you seriously?

I think week 4 of the NHS plan focuses on workplace, and has some advice on how to deal with it. (I only had a sneak peek, am on Week 1 officially.)

Plan or not, my reply to people who press me is "no, really, thanks but I wont". these little extras are probably the insidious little dangers.

I worked in an office environment where the employers provided snacks, cakes, chocolates, fizzy drinks etc free of charge. At one point I asked them to provide healthier snacks, such as fruit. They obliged by buying 6 cases of satsumas. It took everyone months to much our way through them.

Somehow I don't think they, quite, got the idea.

And, yes - it was in America.

it happens.... In our office though we now have FRUIT bowls. this helps with the 'snacking' problem.. If you feel tempted to ' snack' at least you can snack on something healthy.. Can you see if that's something they might do?
