Hello I do try to eat healthily and wandered if ryvita is good for you? I have 3 for my lunch with low fat cheese spread. I eat 6 dried prunes for my mid-morning snack at work. Is this healthy too? Just wondered

Healthy or not
Sounds pretty good, check the nutritional info but seems like a great starting point
Congratulaions on trying to eat healthy foods. Prunes are very good and contain a lot of nutrients.
Ryvitas are good too; however, I think that if you could eat only 2 with real cheese (as opposed to processed spread), and replace the other one with a vegetable source like a salad or soup it would be more balanced. You could add more protein too.
If I am correct, one Ryvita has 35 calories and 1 tablespoon of low-fat cheese spread also about 35 cal. For 70 calories you could eat a mixed salad (e.g. baby spinach, cucumber, onion, tomato and/or various other ingredients like other lettuce, celery, radish, etc), with a few olives for healthy fat too. It would provide more nutrients than another Ryvita.
Prunes, apart from the good things, they also contain concentrated sugars - so your limiting the number is good but I wonder whether an apple or another whole fruit might be more satisfying sometimes. I also agree with the mixed salad suggestion - then the meal will also be attractive as well as low calorie and will be providing a wider range of vitamins and minerals. Good luck.
