I have gained about 20 lb since I had a knee replacement op last October - due to inactivity, boredom and biscuits !
I'm borderline overweight at 5' 8" and 75 kg, but the extra doesn't do my joints any favours. It's time to get back to where I was before it gets harder. I' planning (hoping) to loose 10 Kg in about 20 weeks. And get back to the 65-67 Kg I was a year ago.

It's great that you've decided to lose some weight after your knee replacement operation, and I wish you every success with your goals. Have you seen the NHS website pages - because there's a great 12 week structured plan there, and it offers really good advice.
You sound motivated, and hopefully you'll be able to do more exercise now that you've got your new knee. Alongside healthy eating, that should be a formula for successful weight loss.
We have some things in common. I have 8 kg to lose (about 18 lb). Mine was gained in about a year and a half. Also want to be where I was before! Good luck and keep us up to date with your progress.
