Hi, we have the Fitbit Aria wireless scales. They are great if you use a Fitbit to track your walking activity as it wirelessly records and shows progress in respect of your weight. It records your weight but also your % body fat. When I lost weight last time, I was losing weight but my % of body fat was going up as I was losing the wrong type of fat - I was losing muscle so it meant I needed to do exercise etc. So personally I find them very accurate

Mine also give a different reading every time - heavier all the time, ha ha.

Sorry, I can't give you any ideas on the scales. Mine are quite old.

My scales tend to weigh differently on different parts of the floor. As we have Lino with squares on the bathroom floor I make sure the scales are on the same square each time. Also I make sure I stand in the same position on the scales each time. Hope this helps.

These digital scales seem to have up to -+2lb deficits old mechanical ones were more accurate. The body fat% on these are not great if you want to measure that just get calippers they are only a few quid.

I use my WiiFit Plus as it gives you your bmi as well as weight, and adds to it a graph so you can look back at your progess, or otherwise.

I used to use scales that would add or lose 5lbs depending on where you put them so I put a really strong peice of flat chipbd under new scales and now get accurate readings. So much better. I was geting really discouraged thinking I had put on 4lbs after carefullyi counting calories till I found that by moving the scales 4 inches I lost 5lbs!

Thats not happpening now.
