I am fortunate in not having a sweet tooth, but in the posts I've read I haven't seen any mention of Stevia. It is really much better than refined cane or beet sugar, and has very few calories by comparison, so for those with a sugar addiction do you use it? And if not why not?

I'd love to know too. there have been some articles. I dont know if it will be the saving of us. Theres now some evidence that sugar substitute make the body react differently and gobble other stuff anyway. I'm afraid to say it comes down to self control, something i have little of.
There's not much about it on wikipedia or NHSchoices, except to say it seems harmless, and may be helpful to those on carb controlled diets - like diabetes
It's part of my routine swap out for all sugar--coffee, tea, baking. I saved a lot by going to the baking section and bought the big bag. Swapped out real vanilla for the sugar filled creamers and bought unsweetened almond milk to trade for the calorie - laden cows' milk.
Sweeteners ( stevia is better ) is not great! Agave syrup still sweet, natural though.
The dangers of aspartame are well known google, it will shock you!
