Hi I just joined today and have decided that this eating plan and counting calories is the best way forward. Any tips from anyone
Heya. I am in the same boat and just joined a few mintues ago. i have also decided to calorie count as there isn't any other successful way for me to loose weight as I always end up over eating. I have found that having to write everything down is the hardest part, but with the nhs weekly chart, it makes it that much easier.
Thanks for the reply. If you like we can buddy up and help each other on the way. Just busy writing what I have eaten and how many calories I have used so far. Was shocked that the mango I ate was 220 calories, will have to watch that in future.
Hi I have just joined as well ,hoping to get some motivation from this site to give me back on track , had lost a stone but the pounds are starting to creep back on , started to eat the wrong things again. HELP !!!!!!
I found this site by accident and glad I did as need to lose weight and like you hoping this site will give me motivation. The calorie checker is really quick and easy to use and I had a good first day. I have tried everything and come to the conclusion that the best way is to count what I eat. Hope you do well and have success.
The resources in here are excellent, I also use MyFitnessPal and MapMyWalk apps for encouragement the free versions of both give just enough usability to keep me typing in my food and mapping my dog walks. Finding out how many calories I earn with exercise is an enormous booster... 500 yesterday from a 5k walk with my mutts. Brilliant! Had guilt free pizza for tea! X
