I am stuck at 12 and a half stone and need to get to my goal of 11 stone. I am doing well ,cutting down on alcohol and not eating any unhealthy snacks , the problem is I cant help having seconds ( or thirds or fourths)at dinner time , Does anyone know how to over come this ? Many thanks

Drink plenty of water. Not only is it good for you it also fills you up so drink a glass before your meal . Eat healthy snacks between meals so you don't end up too ravenous and overeat at mealtimes.

If you're making more than you need then maybe put it in a tupperware and keep it as a leftover meal. Or maybe don't cook so much. If it's not there then you can't eat it. If you're intent on having seconds then maybe try to restrain yourself to the healthier bits like the veggies rather than the sauces and the meat or high carb things like potatoes, pasta and rice.

Sometimes it's a case of brains over belly. Which one do you want more the 11st marker or the seconds?

The secret of losing weight is eating small portions of food with no sugar and no Sat Fat. Eat no more than a size of a desert bowl. When you fill full, STOP eating. Rest for 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes then Exercise for 30 minutes per day (150 minutes a week) by walking, aerobics weight training etc to burn the calories. Repeat this per day for a month and see the difference.

It may be hard but it works as I'm losing weight and I lost 6 pounds today in a week.

If it still hard millie, join weight watchers for free by talking to your local doctor and he/she will referred you to weight watchers.

I agree with the cook less, I try and have a bowl of raw veg or salad in the fridge to help fill me up sugar snap peas or baby sweetcorn work well, I do try and fend off extra calories with massive amounts of exercise .....
