Hello, just wondering if there are any new folk who would like to buddy up with me? This is Day 1 for me, so would love to meet others for general encouragement and tips to stick with the full 12 weeks!
I live in W Sussex, and have a 3 year old son, and work part-time, so am pretty busy and prone to drinking too much wine to combat said business! I used to do loads of cycling and sea swimming, and have recently started running to try and get fit again, but food is the key to getting the weight off too.

Hi there, I have just started this week also! It's the first time I have tried to lose weight with others and to look for mutual support/encouragement. I would like to do a Wednesday weigh in. I have started at 12st 4lb. So I will just weigh myself next Wed morning! I have 3 children and have put on a stone with each!!! Now I blame their biscuits, nutella, chips, etc for keeping me fat. Time to stop the excuses and take responsibility methinks. All the best with your journey.
Hi Swimgal, Did you do your Wednesday weigh-in. I am afraid I lost nothing! I haven't been very good esp as it was Easter weekend and there was a lot of choc about.
If you check, you will see that you have responded to a thread which is four years old.
If you wanted to pop over to the Wednesday Wobblers Weigh In for today, you will find plenty of activity there, and support for you being a Wednesday weigher - and you could make this the day you declare your starting weight, and next week you can declare your loss there.
Hi Swimgal I only pressed on your message because you used Swim. I’m also a sea swimmer but sadly I now live in Europe at the point which is furthest away from the sea (lots of lakes though) I also have a similar amount of weight to lose. I’ve already lost 2st and want/need to lose at least another 2 stone.
