Firstly, don't be disheartened. Initial progress is always rapid and will eventually come to a standstill for EVERYBODY.
You need to now decide on a positive change you can make for the next 12 weeks. This could be adding in an extra resistance training session per week, adding in two extra HIIT sessions a week, reducing your carb intake by a %, the possibilities really are endless. You just need to focus on one area where, given your lifestyle, that change is easiest to make.
There is no right or wrong answer, some will of course be more optimal than others, but as its you that will be making the changes, you are the one who has the answers, you just aren't aware of the fact.
Try this, list 4 possible changes you could make for the next 12 weeks that you believe could help progress. Then list them here for us all to discuss.
It's natural to plateau occasionally but the trick is to just keep on going and the scales will eventually move again. What kind of exercise do you do? I started running in January 2012 even though I hated it at school and I was 63! I used the free NHS Couch to 5K podcasts nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/... which are truly excellent, and got me from struggling to run for 60 seconds to, nine weeks later, running for 30 minutes. I now run three times a week and the weight is still dropping off me! My body shape has completely changed.
