Perhaps you could try altering the proportions of food you eat? Upping the protein and lowering the carbohydrates can work for some people.
Everyone is different, but just think of it that 1lb a week over 52 weeks is nearly 4 stone! I can sometimes go onto a 1/2lb a week rate of loss so I get a few more calories when I'm finding it tough and I've lost between 1 and 4lb! The next week I stay the same, nobody can really guarantee what your actual weightloss will be.
