Week 1 completed

Really pleased - finished week 1 and started week 2 this morning. Legs and hips don't know what's hit them and as for my knee - ouch. But that is not going to stop me and I can't believe I am actually jogging!

Hi Lettielew47,

Sounds like you've had a good week, although your knee might not agree with you! Well done on starting jogging - that's great exercise.

Hope you have a good week.

Lowcal :-)

Just weighed in at the end of W1 - lost 2.4kg (5.3lb)!!! I've stuck to 1,200 cals per day (bit more at the weekend, bit less the rest of the time) and walked for 45 mins a day most days, which I've actually really enjoyed. I slipped up big tieme on sat with half a bottle of wine, but I'm still really pleased with my efforts - hopefully I won't be lulled into thinking I'll get away with that every week!

Funding it easy to eat the right foods because I'm just too hungry to care what I have by the time dinner rolls around! Roll on W2!!!

That's a great weight loss! Well done :-) can't believe you're managing to stick to 1200 calories, that's good willpower and discipline! I'm having 1600 calories and that seems to be working well for me as I've lost 5lbs in 2 weeks! Really happy with that :-) good luck with this week x

Good work Michwat!

It's all or nothing for me (except a couple of alcohol related slip ups!) BBC Good Food website is brilliant - do an advanced search for recipes under 400, there's so much choice! I tend to have a very light lunch of some sort of veg soup and fresh fruit which rarely comes to more than 200 cals, which means I can have more at dinner. No idea if that's ok in the long run but it works for me!

Not what you're looking for?
