Feeling really bad right now! Haven't been on here in like 2 weeks! Happy that I've managed to lose 2lbs though!! Not really exercised just been watching what I am eating mainly as at the moment it's hard for me as I am waiting to go see a gastro specialist at the hospital so struggle with pain a lot at the moment. I have been going for walks though (helps having a pooch as that makes me go out) and hopefully soon be able to do a bit more (probably not as I seem to be getting worse not better and my appointment isn't until 3rd January! Boo!) Hope everyone has been getting closer to their goals! I can't wait to be leading a happier and healthier life!

Feeling bad .....
Sounds to me like there's nothing to feel bad about. Despite needing a serious consultation, you've managed to keep walking and lose 2lb. That's quite an achievement as far as I'm concerned. Well done!
Before having real surgary for a gastric band, why not try hypnosis as they can fit you an imaginary gastric band and give you a diet to go with it as real as having the operation. Your subconcious is a powerful thing.
Hi Jackie. Post was probably a little confusing. I'm awaiting to see a gastro specialist as I've been in constant pain since August with what they thought was gallbladder but doctors can't find what it is as had a scan which showed no stones but gallbladder looked fine, so they've referred me to a specialist as it could be something to do with either liver, kidneys, pancreas or actual stomach. Sorry if post was a little misleading x
Thanks, perhaps start eating more leafy vegetable 's and stay away from any processed foods. Myself I aim for 7.000 steps a day and do not worry if it is less. I
do not give up and try again the next day. Have lost 10kg in the last 8 weeks, but in
the last week gained a pound! I am sure that I will loose this next week. My body has to settle a bit I think at the moment. I am 66 next week and have turned over a new leaf and aim to live till I am 90 years old and see my great grandchildren. I now weigh 73kg.
1.64 tall. Have a twin who now weighs 2 kg more than myself. I am now not obese, but overweight. If I am hungry I drink a glass of luke warm water and eat every 3 hours five times a day a tea plate of healthy food prepared in advance or nibble a piece of green/red pepper/cucumber/carrot, which replaces a snack.my stomach now hardly ever hurts.
I'm slowly getting used to cutting out the processed foods. I've already cut out the junk, I haven't eaten chocolate or crisps in the past 3 weeks (which I am rather proud of to be honest haha) if I feel like I need to eat something then I try snack on healthy things or I just drink water. Just hoping I can stay strict with myself over Christmas so I don't over eat on too much but I got a while to get used to this and before I know it this will be easy to stick too Good luck with your goals I hope you achieve them to become happier and healthier. Also Happy Birthday for next week! Hope you have a good day! X
Well done Clo. You sound as though you are really doing well. I know how hard it can be to give up the crisps.
Well done on the weight loss and for getting out with your dog Its great you've made changes to your diet but remember a little bit of what you fancy does you good. I find that by allowing myself a treat (for me its chocolate) it keeps me motivated and I don't feel deprived. Hope you get answers to your gastro problem. x
Thank you for your kind words vonnyliz! My mum has said the same that a little treat won't harm but it's been good as I haven't felt like I've wanted it so haven't touched, although I did treat myself to some crisps (well pringles) today, but have been good I didn't eat the whole tube haha x
Well done on the weightloss, it's so difficult when your feeling unwell but you fighting through it! A BIG well done on the chocolate not sure I could manage that! x
