Thanks for the link - I'm following pretty much all of those tips. The two I struggle with are:
6. Eat high-fibre foods - I don't like most higher fibre carb options. Although I like wholemeal bread and oats, I stick to white rice and standard pasta. I get plenty of fruit and veg so hopefully that balances things out a bit.
8. Use a smaller plate - I have no room in the cupboard for a new set of smaller plates so I have to make do with what I have. I fill up most of the plate with vegies, so it is easier to take a smaller portion of the higher calorie part of the meal. Plus if I have pasta, stir fry or curry I often use a cereal bowl instead of a plate!

I thought I had better have another look at these - thank you, your post was a timely reminder. I am pleased to say that I am doing them all now, which surprised me. The one I could still improve on is to drink more water, so I will work on that.
