I've struggled with my weight for years, trying slimming world & weight watchers...minor success but find myself eating far too much even though it's 'free'. So decided to try the NHS plan and found this link via twitter. Fingers crossed I can adobt this healthy lifestyle =). How has everyone managed to achieve their goals and keep motivation?

I don't really qualify to give an answer as this is my second week on this healthy eating regime. Like you I done weight watchers, rosemary Conley . Etc. Lost it but to put the weight back on . I do seem to have a different approach this time. I think of it as a way of life not a diet. What I do use is a smaller plate, seem to be helping....maybe in a couple or months I shall be able to tell more :-).
I agree with tessababy it as a way of life not a diet, I'm less then halfway through my journey but a couple of recent dinner parties has slowed my progress, but smaller plates are a good idea could also try brushing your teeth after meals as it can stop the 'after meals snacking'.
as long as you stick to whole fresh foods ie lots of veg, salads, protein like chicken breast ect and drink plenty of water, also try to get in exercise at least 3/4 times a week, do that and the weight will fall off x
