Medication

I have looked at the list of medication and my two tablets Tegretol and citalopram do clash. Will this interfere with my weight loss. When I spoke to the instructor at WW she said the tablet was too small to make any difference!

Will it effect my metabolism?

Hi Janelily,

I think it's unlikely, as such, that those would effect your metabolism as such, but you could run that question past your pharmacist.

However, the underlying condition(s) for which you are taking medication may impinge upon your weight loss efforts, or vice versa, so I would recommend you take some specific advice from your medical practitioner.

Good luck with your weight loss efforts.

Thanx

I'll have a chat to them and demand a reply. I feel the doctors and pharmacist don't know what to do with me. They don't give you a clear answer.
