PCOS - has anyone tested their insulin resistance

Hi All,

I was diagnosed when i was 16 now 20+ years ago. I have been reading a lot of information that many of us have PCOS because of insulin resistance and the way to resolve this is to severely restrict sugars and starch from your diet and exercise regualarly.

i have always exercised regularly but my weight and periods have been up and down. Since removing starches and sugars from my everyday i have seen dramatic improvement.

I was wondering if anyone has checked their insulin resistance level as women with PCOS tend to have high IR. IF so what company did people use?

Thanks in advance
