hey,

does anyone have tips on how to boost your energy ? Been struggling lately mainly late morning/early afternoon. I don’t drink a lot of caffeine. If anyone has a remedies I’d be grateful

It's a really hard one, and something I still struggle with, particularly in winter. Eating low-GI foods really helped me to sustain energy/keep awake for longer. I found when I had sugar or white starchy food e.g. white rice, white pasta or white bread, I'd go on a sugar high then crash and be really tired and hungry very soon after. But by swapping to brown rice, brown bread, sweet potatoes, wholewheat pasta etc, it really helped.

Also, at one stage my iron levels were super low, so the GP put me on some iron tablets to get me back to normal level and I'd never felt so much energy in my life! So do keep an eye on iron levels too just incase.

I found Glucose Goddess instagram account and her book Glucose Revolution to be most helpful in managing energy and many other issues. Hope this helps.
