New to this community but after some advice. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17, I’m now 35 but I’ve only recently started to understand more about it.
I was told I only have it mild and I received no support from my GP or a specialist, was told to stay slim and went on the pill to regulate my periods.
Over the last year and a half, I’ve been having reflexology when I can abs since coming off the pill, it’s really helped get some sort of regular cycle back.
I’ve had a few stressful weeks and what are think are problems associated with my PCOS seem to have got worse, can anyone advise? The stabbing, hot poker type pains in my ovaries have been worse, I have no energy, I ache and keep getting headaches. My diet recently probably hasn’t helped and from research I reckon I’ve got inflammatory PCOS as I also suffer with asthma and allergic reactions so inflammation is a common problem in my body. Am I right in thinking that the tiredness etc is to do with my PCOS? And any advice on getting it under control?
Thank you

Hi just been reading your story and oh my does it sound like me 😂🙈 only I’m 31 diagnosed at 15 with pcos, been ttc for 10 years 2 failed ivf an now on metformin to see if that helps in anyway, have reflexology n acupuncture but not seen any benefits from reflex yet although years ago it brought my period back within a few days, seems as I get older worse things get the tiredness is awful and from my own research tiredness ( fatigue ) depression anxiety all stems from pcos just one of the side effects 😩 my advice to you would be to get recent bloods done as it may be something else like low iron etc? But at least u will know where your at with it, I think I also have inflammatory pcos and I’ve been reading about diets etc and we should be eating whole foods etc, have you tried this? X
