I am 18 years old and recently been diagnosed with PCOS and Cyst’s on both of my ovaries, I’ve always suffered with irregular periods when younger so I got put on the pill to regulate them, I’ve always been worried that I can’t conceive naturally since a young girl I’ve been in a relationship for 4 years and would like a baby one day. Is there anyone out there that has gone through the same as me and still had children I just need reassurance?

Anyone had children with PCOS and cysts on both ovaries and didn’t have trouble conceiving?
Hello! I have PCOS and have two children...scans showed a lot of cysts on my ovaries when I was trying to conceive....I did have to take metformin and clomid in order to ovulate and conceive my first and then just metformin for my second...I hope this gives you some hope xx
I had cysts on my ovaries at 25 and no periods and at a recent scan in my 30s they are no longer there and I now have periods and have conceived, I never had periods in my 20s. My sister has large cysts and even had an ovary removed that the cyst had got so large, she still went on to have my nephew. You may struggle to conceive but doesn't mean you won't conceive. Give yourself the best change by being a healthy weight and eating healthy, if you don't already. You are young so have plenty of time. But when you are ready start trying, the sooner you start the sooner you will see if you have any issues.
Plenty of women of women have children with PCOS, the key wording is fertility issues not infertility necessarily.
