I've been on norethisterone for 3.6months now due to an operation date due for an endometrial elaboration but I've never had bleeding or spotting on norethisterone at all , all this spotting happened last thursday and I'm still taking norethisterone but I been to my doctors today and she did a cervical scan and she seen a small white lump on my cervix as well as my cervix being swollen! Can this be the reason why I'm experiencing the bleeding it's not heavy as off yet but its pinky blood sometimes red but light the doctor said it's not due to the norethisterone so no idea what is going on I got to wait 2 weeks for an urgent cervical screening to see what's going on but I also got told norethisterone doesnt cause bleeding or spotting as it's a period delayer which is true and it cant be a withdrawal bleed/ period as I've not stopped the medication
