Hi all,

I’ve been on this site for a while now as I have been trying to conceive for nearly 3 years. I have PCOS and have been under a fertility clinic for 2 years. I have recently been using Letrzole and am happy to announce that I am PREGNANT.

I should be overjoyed however I am very worried about having a miscarriage or whether I have had a miscarriage already. I found out that I was pregnant on Sunday as i had brown discharge and was concerned, so was advised to test for pregnancy. I haven’t had any brown discharge since.

I went to a&e and I have been referred to an early pregnancy assessment unit to have an early scan. The midwife at the hospital didn’t appear concerns and encouraged me to remain positive but I feel so scared and I’m worrying myself

Congratulations! I've heard brown discharge and even light cramps are normal in early pregnancy but always best to be checked out. I know with us pcos ladies, we're so used to bad news that any good news is hard to believe. One thing I will say though, stress really doesn't help, I know it's easy to say don't worry, but honestly just say to yourself what will be, will be. Keep yourself eating healthy and start to come to terms with what you've achieved ! X

No it’s quite normal- in fact I would say it’s more normal that not to get this. I had bad cramps for 7 months of my pregnancy and a bleed at 10 weeks too - Noah is now 14!
