PCOS Blood clots

Hi everyone. Has anyone experienced a sudden rush of blood clots with their period? Approx 5 weeks ago, i started spotting, after 3 weeks i went to my Dr. That day, i passed a 2.5" clot. That was followed with a further 5. Anyway, after that day, i went back to the daily spotting. However, Friday last week, they returned. In total that day i had 5. Saturday day time i passed a further 5 clots. Suddenly during Saturday evening, within a 20 minute time frame, i passed 12 more clots. So meaning that was 17 on saturday alone. I have been clotting ever since. I am booked for a Ultra sound scan next week, but i am at my wits end with this now. I have now been on a heavy period since Sunday. Any advice? TIA x
