I’m looking for hair removal for chin and upper lip (excess hair due to PCOS). Do I go for laser hair removal or electrolysis? Thanks!

Hi. I have Pcos and I did laser hair removal on my underarms a few years ago. Well worth the expense! Although I still get growth, it is so so minor in comparison to what I had before with only a few hair follicles in a couple of places still growing faintly. I also bought a home laser appliance to use (although I'm terrible at regularly keeping this up). I cant give any opinions about electrolysis though but hope my opinion on laser helps!

I personally would do laser first as it is more effective quickly. Average for pcos ladies is 15 sessions though, top lip is hormonal so you will always need to maintain it. I have had 22 sessions in total and nothing done for the last 3+ years and do need a top up as my goaty area is sprouting. SK:N used to do a 30% discount for pcos ladies and interest free credit.

Best thing I ever did (I had a beard !!!)
