Hey guys. I have been told I have poly ovaries and I am undergoing surgery to detect whether or not I have endometriosis. I have black hairs everywhere (around my chin, upper lip, etc) which is always growing back rather fast, periods are regular but I have at least a week of spotting before due date. The symptoms I suffer are too much to list and it gets me down to the point where I question life. But I have been told all of above is not hormone related and it’s depression basically. I think otherwise. Because it’s mainly only on the week or leading up to my period that I feel this. Anywho, I have a holiday booked and I want to avoid this shit getting in my way as it always does because having two weeks out of the month where I am bleeding limits making plans. So I am now thinking of giving in and trying the pill. After three years of being unsuccessful in TTC might I add. So my question is what pill would people recommend as I know my GP will just advise any old shit and take my symptoms in to consideration thanks in advance

Combined pill is best and to take 3 months on the trot as it reduces the symptoms further. Yasmin is a good one. We do seem to suffer from anxiety and depression and they dont know if it is the hormone imbalance or the symptoms of pcos that cause this so it is not uncommon anyway.

When are you off on hols?
