My Ova: Has anyone tried a supplement... - PCOS UK (Verity)
My Ova
Hello, I’m taking them at the moment been on them about a month and I had my period after 6 months I’m due my second one in a week or so so hoping that happens too so good results so far x
I've had it recently. It made my period even longer than normal. I also had a big migraine as soon as I took it. But metformin which acts in a similar way does the same for me.
Those on the pcos Facebook group would have a fit. They say we dont absorb tablet form well so they dont recommend them as you'd have to be taking lots of tablets to get the right dose (the dose is 4 tablets a day already)
They promote the powdered versions of myoinositol (zita west, inflicted, swansons) and lots of women on there have had good results.
I had zita west last year and got similar symptoms to myova (possibly a little less side effects) but I wasnt very good at taking it because I'm a bit mard with dissolved medications. I was having to mix it with yoghurt but then ended up having to eat yoghurt daily eventhough i didnt want it lol.
Good luck
