Pill recommendation by Nurse - awful!!!

I was recently put on the Rigevidon pill by the nurse, I took it for about three weeks and it was honestly the worst experience of my life. I was so bloated and big i felt like i was pregnant, I couldn’t fit into my jeans and it has made me put on weight. When showing the pill to friends and family they all said Rigevidon was the worst pill. Why do nurses recommend a pill that has really bad side effects?

Sorry to hear you’ve had such a bad experience with it ! I used to be on Rigevidon for years before I started TTC and it was great for me I loved it. The answer unfortunately is that rigevidon is cheap and much cheaper than other brands so they tend to put you on that. It’s the same as microgynon but I know some people don’t have as bad side effects in that. I would go back and ask to change xx
