Hi, everyone Ive got 3 cycts on my left ovary and my GP did prescribe this pill, it did help my acne, my face looks bit okay but my mood still hasnt changed, every day my husband is just complaining and I feel really sorry and Im also bloated all the time and Im only on my first week.

Did anyone of you experience any weird effects?

Hugs x

It gave me headaches every night but I had it way before my PCOS got bad so I didn’t have the mood swings

Can you try a different pill as some may suit better than others - i would go back to your GP and ask

Thank you im just a bit weary as my GP is not that emphatetic and she might asked me to leave it for some time, but I could my anxiety is getting worse with this pill.

Im on yasmin and have been for years so may be worth trying that, saying that tho it takes 3 months or so to settle down. how long have you been on it ?

Some combined pills can cause mood swings, the other option which is good from a pcos point of view is the coil, I know lots of pcos ladies love it.

Hi there, thank you for responding quickly. Were you on this pill before? Im glad Yasmin is working for you. Ive only been on this pill for more than a week not even 2weeks.

This is the only pill im taking at the moment. Ive never taken any contraceptive as Im married and dying to have kids.

I hate to say this but my GP did not really explain to me why she put me on this pill, All i can remember is for me to have a regular period hopefully after 3 months.

Combined pill is good from pcos point of view and can increase your changes of getting pregnant quicker as your body is less pcos. So were you put on it as you lacked periods maybe - are you trying to conceive yet.
