Can anybody help with weight loss??
Look at 'theanswertopcos' diet as it is the only diet I consistently lost weight on and have maintained for 10 years. The weight seems to fly on just by looking at certain foods but takes 10 times the amount of time to get it back off, extremely frustrating. I only really fluctuate by a stone so can get it off again by being more strict with my diet.
The majority of nutritionists don't really understand pcos enough to advise but generally it is low GI and brown carbs, white carbs are the route of all evil in my opinion!
The combined pill can make losing weight slightly easier as well and controls all the pcos symptoms.
Hi there, have you cut dairy/gluten/sugar out of your diet send tried sticking to mai my whole foods and natural sugas such as honey and maple strump. Also taking omega 3/ vitamin d3 and inositol supplements?
Hi there! I’m sorry it’s been so rough for you! I know exactly how that is, and it’s just the pits.
I took the approach of slow weight loss because i don’t love exercising (i probably cut 30lbs over a whole year) and even though it took quite a while, it wasn’t too difficult and my weight hasn’t crept back up. so if you can find a mild diet that works for you, it’s a good idea to make peace w the fact that weight loss doesnt have to be quick! and a good way to tell if a diet is working is just tracking your weight & calories with an app like MyFitnessPal and Lifesum for about a month of the diet— then once you find one it should be okay to just operate on your own. hope you’re doin okay
