Is it just me or do people without pcos not understand what we go through?! I find it very difficult to explain to people what pcos is :(

Yes so true people don't understand and tbh it's difficult to understand even by myself even after hours of research. It's quite tiring.

There's lots of was to help manage PCOS naturally which I've been practicing also and they are helping.

When explaining to people and they cannot understand it's best to not over think and stress about it as this impacts our hormones. Over time little by little the ones that care will listen and eventually understand. Sending you lots of strength.

Hi greengreen.

It's hard, pcos isn't well known, and people don't understand it. I have addressed my bad diet (although not that bad) but for me?

A couple of months of veggies, protein, buckwheat and no carbs, dairy or gluten. In general a Mediterranean diet and my stomach seems to be a lot better. Lost weight, now am sticking to the diet, but can have the odd carb etc, I am not bunged up any more. Weight seems stable. Hopefully will help with symptoms. X

Great to hear on your progress honestly that is so rewarding when you feel better that is the target in itself so well done.

I've read a book called woman code which I always race about because it helps answer so many questions.

If you haven't read it I suggest you do it is really empowering.

Have you cut out dairy and gluten completely?

I’ve done two weeks now gluten free dairy free and sugar free and I’m feeling so much better in myself already! Thank you

I have very unstable hormones.. tend to have good days and bad days some days feel so low I just want to stay in bed then some days can’t stop 😂 no periods only spotting, hair growth as well! 🙈

I have found diet alone has helped me so much only done two weeks on a gluten dairy and sugar free and feeling more like myself and less irritable 👍🏼

Didn’t get any help of the doctors at all so took it into my own hands 😀

Do you get lower abdominal pain? Like constantly in pain?

I don’t personally get pain only when im on my period. Mine is more my hormones and blood sugar levels that affect me. Have the doctors offered you anything to help? Xxx

I tell people it is an endocrine disorder as often if you mention ovaries they just think bad periods

Hi, yes I know exactly what you mean. It's not very well know and the Overy bit isn't very helpful! Because it's endocrine disorder.

Sometimes it can feel quite lonely, especially when health professionals don't even understand it! X
