Hi can you all please help me ? I got diagnosed with pcos without the cysts last month, I’ve had my first period in a while and it’s quite painful.. lower abdomen and middle abdomen, back and thighs. Does anyone else ever get this & where do you get yours? My anxiety is killing me right now and I always think the worst 😢 thank you for reading x

Yes I don't have periods for months like you as I have Pcos then when my periods come they are thick and I feel so unwell . The only thing that I have been told will stop this for me is the pill . Not sure what you think of the pill ? But I don't want the pill .

The combined pill can help control the pcos symptoms, I have been on and off for the combined pill for 30 years and it controls my symptoms hugely.

Anxiety and depression is a symptom of pcos too so do consider going on anti depressants as they have one that help with anxiety (which I use) and makes live so much easier.

I am on anti depressants. Just switched to some new ones. I’m just paranoid about where I’m getting the pains x

They aren't that uncommon so don't worry too much, I get it in my back/lower stomach too but not too bad. If you go on the combined pill you can take 3 months on the trot as it helps reduce the symptoms further, as long as you have 4 a year its fine.
