Hello all,

Has anyone tried spearmint tea to stop unwanted hair?

If so did it really work?

I am gonna try but guessing it will be too good to be true.

😂🤔

Hi,

I currently have 2 cups a day of this, it doesn’t stop the hair growth by any means but for me it is noticeably slowed the growth 🙂

Hello niicwade01

Hopefully should have some delivered today, would have tried it ages ago but I can't buy it in a shop where I live & I've looked everywhere😂

But also limiting milk so looking for hot drink alternatives without sugar!!

Only found spearmint tea mixed with other mints or camomile. Thinking of buying the fresh plant/seeds.

Good to know it has an effect!

Thanks.

I took it and some other foods said to help reduce hormone issues and my testosterone lowered. That's it. Hair still grew.

Hi

How long did you drink it for?

I am being really strict at the moment. I will be surprised if it works tbh. Did like spearmint tea tho.

It was a few months to a year between blood tests and I'd have to get my records for certain. I still drink it. Fenugreek blessed thistle and coffee also seems to help. A lot of diabetics take fenugreek as well.

As far as I see it, it isn't going to hurt.

I agree, probably better to have them anyway than not, I don't know how long these things take.

I often wonder why if they give hormone therapy to transgender people why we don't get offered it?

I haven't ever had a test for testosterone as far as I am aware.

I've been wondering that exact thing myself the last few months. We get brushed off so quick and claimed there isn't anything more they can do. The progestin in Dianette is used for transitioning and by itself is called Androcur or something similar. I'd much rather take a small dose of that and avoid the estrogen that gives me terrible migraines.

NHS is horrible about not telling you things. Ask for test results for any bloods you've gotten done.

Not what you're looking for?
